It is a big misconception that Carpenters and Builders only build new houses and large construction projects and Handymen are for all your home renovation repairs and maintenance work.

But the reality is a Handyman can be anyone. From your DIY guy with a hammer, up to your fully licensed and insured Carpenter or Builder.

Many Handymen are not certified nor licensed. These are your DIY guys with a hammer. However some fully licensed Carpenters and Builders advertise as a Handyman because it brings in the work they have been trained to do.

Having work done by an unlicensed individual means you are taking a huge risk on the quality and safety of the job being done. Most structures have certain building requirements that many Handymen wouldn't be aware of. If these building requirements weren't adhered to in their construction there is a good chance that they may fail in the future causing harm to someone or damage to your property.

In the eyes of Insurance companies and governing construction bodies like the QBCC these structures are illegal and you would be unable to make any claims for the damage.

Yes, RenoProjex is licensed in both Carpentry and Painting & Decorating with the QBCC.

Roof Restoration Companies are usually Painters who have chosen to do only Roof Painting. Some are just Salesmen who sub-contract out the roof restoration work out to Painters and Roof Tilers.

Any Professionally done Roof Restoration will include these steps:

1. Pressure cleaning the roof,

2. Repairs to the roof,

3. Painting of the roof.

All of these things are required for a professionally painted roof that will last years to come.

However there is one service we offer that most Roof Restoration companies won't.

There is noting worse than paying all this money for your roof to be done to then realise that your Dutch Gable is all Rotten and is ruining the look of your newly painted roof. We can also repair, replace and paint any rotten timbers and boards in Dutch Gables and Gables so your roof will truly look like new again.

We will only paint the common house roof with either a concrete tile or colorbond metal roof that is under 27° in pitch.

Terracotta tile, Decratile and Asbestos sheet roofing shouldn't be painted.

Architecturally designed buildings with strange roof shapes or a roof pitch of over 27° usually require specialised safety equipment, large scaffolding and hydraulic elevated work platforms.
